Well-known personalities may not need name tags, especially to an event, as they are so recognized. But our friend Hollywood Star Brad Pitt broke that rule when he wore a name tag at the Oscars Nominee's Luncheon at the Dolby in Hollywood on January 2, 2020. Well, we kind of dared him to do it and he said sure why not. The name tag read, “Brad Pitt. Actor in a Supporting Role, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood,” as if those in attendance weren’t already familiar with the performer and his work. What we manage to do was take this trending topic on Twitter and link it to brand promotion. By no means was this considered an endorsement of a brand, but we wanted our client to get a sense of the impact of social media.
